Our mission is to build value and security for our members, their local fishing operations, and their seafood products. CCSMA currently represents six small, independent vessel owners and operators located in two historic fishing ports – Morro Bay and Half Moon Bay. Our fishermen all participate in the highly regulated West Coast Groundfish Fishery (IFQ Program) and in the California Risk Pool. Through implementation and marketing of industry-leading fisheries co-management and marine stewardship initiatives, the CCSMA is bringing high quality, locally harvested, wild seafood to the consumer, protecting the health and productivity of our fish stocks and habitat, and helping to stabilize fishery activity and business in Morro Bay.
